DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow up on all leads provided
• Conduct fact finding interviews
• Coordinate loan files
• Provide accurate and timely updates to customers during the loan application life cycle
• Ensure Loan Gallery Finance compliance documents and information are completed correctly for all customers
• Develop new business and ensure recurring business from clients
• Liaison with key lenders, including banks, insurance companies and other specialized finance companies
• Build networking and referral systems
• Analyse applicant’s financial situation and provide possible loan solutions
• Originate loans in order to sell to lending authorities
• Evaluate financial histories, salary slips and tax information
• Verify borrower’s income and credit information

Loan Gallery Finance is a growing business. We are looking for budding Brokers/File Managers to work with our busy brokers and provide them with loan processing, administration and client support.

Minimal or no industry experience necessary.  A genuine desire to become a top-class broker is essential.  A preparedness to complete the Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking is also required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Order valuations on behalf of brokers
• Liaise with brokers on valuation progress
• Answer enquiries concerning credit standing of customers, loan balances and penalties
• Greet visitors who visit the Loan Gallery office on behalf of Senior Brokers
• Provide accurate and timely updates to customers during the entire lifecycle of loan application
• Contact financial and credit institutions to obtain information about customers
• Prepare documents setting out conditions of credit and loans, rates of repayment and loan periods, and providing information about customers’ standing to financial and credit institutions
• Review files and documentation to ensure complete and accurate
• Use the FLEX system to upload and submit files and paperwork
• Follow up on stakeholders to confirm receipt and commitment to next action
• Communicate with stakeholders the status of loan files as appropriate
• Analyse information about customers and examining references, credit ratings, investment risks, pay slips and other information against predetermined policy standards
• Keeping records of payments and preparing routine letters requesting payment for overdue accounts and forwarding these for legal action as required

ABOUT YOU:

• Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (preferred but not essential)
• Loan writing administrative experience necessary
• Previous finance, credit or settlement experience is a must
• Strong processing, data entry skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Proactive attitude and approach to accomplishing tasks in a timely manner
